Leaders in nutrition, health and wellness products with 2,80,000 employees all around the globe crossing sales of $108 billion started an initiative in India market called Start Healthy Stay Healthy in partnership with doctors educating mothers on the importance of first 1000 days from pregnancy to toddlerhood, nurturing a healthier and happier generation.
The 1st 1000 days include the 270 days of pregnancy, 365 days of the child’s first year and 365 days of the child’s second year. Research from WHO and UNICEF now points out how right nutrition during these 1st 1000 days of life can impact the child’s:
- Brain development
- Vision & growth and development
- Resistance to diseases
By focusing on improving nutrition for mothers and children in the 1000 day period, we can help ensure a child can live a healthy and productive life.
CHALLENGE
After the launch of the SHSH initiative, The nutrition and healthcare giant wanted to be the one stop trusted nutritional information portal for mothers on the go. Informing mother/to be mothers about the importance of each day of their pregnancy, step by step.
SOLUTION
Envesage assisted the client in developing native apps for iOS and Android platform answering all the relevant questions for a happy pregnancy journey. The app was developed using Xcode programmed in objective C. This app includes features like;
Menu plan: A unique menu generator that gives you 1 full week’s menu plan. Provides 5 star rated customizable menus which can be adapted according to your own region. The menu plans are according to Indian dishes.
Week by week pregnancy: Learn how your body changes and how your baby develops within you.
Kick counter: Count the number of times your little one kicks in your tummy.
Tests/Vaccinations checklist: Learn about all the tests and vaccines required during pregnancy
Doctor contacts: Learn about doctor contacts close to your area.
Face Off: Learn who your baby looks like. You or your husband? Upload images of all (you, your husband and your child) and find out the similarity.
